The task of educating multilingual learners is an ever-evolving project. The best practices that work for one group of MLs is not guaranteed to work for the next. No one educator has all of the answers, but by building your team, and by working with innovative educators, we can ensure continual growth for ourselves and expand opportunities for our MLs. It is from this perspective that doctoral students, Abby Johnson and Kira Coats, will share their experiences as burgeoning researchers in the field, their collaborative efforts, and what they see on the horizon for forthcoming doctoral graduates.
