Part 5 of our year-long highlight: Student, Parent, and Community Empowerment
This presentation will be a "sharing conversation" about teaching multilingual learners and personal experiences that inspired the formation of the nonprofit organization TEPIC Foundation INC. This organization aims to support students’ development of a “growth mindset,” enabling them to break the cycle of dropping out of school and not pursuing higher education. TEPIC’s mission is “to make education accessible by providing mentorship and scholarships, to impact lives and communities.” Join the founder, Yanira Alfonso, for this presentation and become part of the conversation regarding helping multilingual learners consider their options beyond high school.
