Dr. Claudia Martinez, 2020-21 GATESOL Teacher of the Year, & ESOL Teacher, Tattnall County Schools will present this autobiographical exploration of her childhood experience in México, her experience of involuntary immigration, and her life in the United States. She will draw upon a wide array of works by immigrants regarding their experiences and upon the autobiographical writings of people of color. She will conclude by presenting 6 findings.
