Join Viviane Moore, a parent instructional support coordinator, and two parents for a workshop on family engagement. They will discuss ways for parents, educators, and community partners to come together to promote meaningful learning experiences, build trust, and collaborate for the holistic development and success of every child. The presenters will also share examples of how to create parent-capacity activities, as well as recommend how to go beyond traditional adult-education practices to emphasize a more equal, and equitable relationship between school, students, and families.
